This 8-hour course is designed for contractors and workers who perform renovation, repair, or painting in homes and child-occupied facilities built before 1978 where lead-based paint may be present.
This training is regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This course qualifies participants to become a Certified Renovator.
Students will learn lead-safe work practices, including containment, cleaning, and compliance requirements. Training is provided in accordance with Section 402 of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and the EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule, 40 CFR Part 745.
Upon successful completion, certification is valid for 5 years.
