This 1 day course is for the contractor that disturbs more than 6sq. feet of lead based paint in a Pre-1978 target or child occupied building.
The EPA-Authorized states of Alabama, Georgia, Iowa, and Mississippi require RRP refresher training every 3 years. Wisconsin requires RRP refresher training every 4 years. If you originally attended a course with the EPA but work in one of these states, you must now adhere to the state renewal periods outlined above. Companies must also submit an application to register as a Lead Safe Certified Firm with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) or the EPA-Authorized State in which RRP work will be performed. This course is approved for purposes of certification under Section 402 of TSCA and/or EPA-Authorized State lead regulations for Lead-safe Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) work.
