This 4-hour refresher course is for certified renovators who need to renew their credentials for working in homes and child-occupied facilities built before 1978 where lead-based paint may be present.
This course reviews essential lead-safe work practices, regulatory updates, and compliance responsibilities. Training is conducted in accordance with Section 402 of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and the EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule (40 CFR Part 745).
Successful completion satisfies refresher training requirements to maintain active certification. Certification must be renewed every 5 years to remain compliant.
